When it comes to photographing destination weddings, or any new location for that matter, I always do my homework. Scouting out ALL the locations ahead of time, and visualizing it. That way when the time comes to direct people and feel confident about where to go and what to do you got it all down….

Random question: why didn’t you blog this before submitting to SMP? That’s not meant as a criticism, I’ve just heard that some blogs are now refusing to publish content that has already appeared on your photography blog. I’m wondering if that’s why you didn’t publish it before now?
