what do I wear?!

I often get asked questions about what to wear during a portraiture session, and I always tell everyone the same thing.  ’Look like yourself, the best you you can be’.  This means; put time into your hair, makeup, nails, and wardrobe.  If matching white shirts and jeans is you, then rock it.  If not, don’t do it.  Show some personal style and have fun with your wardrobe.  Also keep in mind what these images are going to be for.  Are they for Work? Christmas cards? or will you have them around all year? This is your chance to really show off your personality with little props too, so don’t be shy!

Also bring more than one outfit, 2-3 each is perfect.  We may not get to use them all, but at least we have options.  The lighting, mood, and environment is going to change and so should your wardrobe.
